Time… (Flowing Like A River…)

Anyone remember the Alan Parsons Project song of the same name?

(Here’s a video if you need to refresh your memory.) – for educational purposes only, of course! I may or may not have listened to the song a few times while writing this 😃

I first heard the song in the summer of 1981 – and it was one of my all-time favorites for quite some time after that. I used to listen to the album on my dad’s Teac 2300S reel-to-real tape player – I spent the summer making “mix tapes,” back when they really were “tapes!” We used “tapes” of the albums as we liked to save wear on the “records” (I know, cool people call it “vinyl” now) because we could always re-record the tape from the album if it wore out. Remember Maxell? Of course, we were cool and had the metal tape reels. Back then, this device still sounded better than Cassettes… but I digress…

There was a particular part of the lyrics that, even back then, I thought were rather haunting:

Goodbye my friend – Maybe for forever
Goodbye my friend
The stars wait for me
Who knows where we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea
To the sea

Till it’s gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore

It would not be until the most recent 12 months of my life that I really internalized where we are on God’s timeline – and learned that eternity was not some far away concept for after death.

Hang in there… I know this can seem a bit “out there” from what the world teaches. But I promise you, if you allow yourself to see through the thin veil of the world into truth, you will be richly rewarded.

Time was a lot different from my perspective at the ripe old age of maybe 12 or 13 – time might as well have meant eternity. As you know, time becomes a much more precious commodity the more you rack up miles and years on your life. You start to realize that there is an END to time – at least your own time. Eternity was even yet another word that I have a very different context for today, when compared to my understanding  back in 1981. Eternity was a thing for gods – not mortals like us – we had no eternity, or so i thought.

In truth, time (as we know it) really is coming to a close.

I’m sorry it’s been such a long time since the last post. By now I’m down to just the “core few” that are following this blog. The more I speak of end times, the less folks want to hear it (as indicated by this blogs stats.) The world pushes the “it’s all good” spirit, and folks eagerly choose the Blue Pill (of Matrix fame) representing false security, happiness, and ignorance. They prefer to go about their lives just like the bible says in Luke 17:26-28, and 30:

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Isn’t it amazing that our ancient book, the Bible, tells us exactly what is happening in our day? Once I started accepting the Red Pill (knowledge, freedom, and brutal reality) I was really able to start connecting the dots of life – good and evil, and all of that. I was free to discover that the Bible foretold a LOT of things – completely applicable to my life today. So I chose wholeheartedly to search for truth, in the face of a world trying to sell the concept of “it’s all good..”

Friends please hear me. No, I mean really – please listen.

Forget what you “think;” forget what the world says, and what you may have been taught, or even how you “feel” about this. The days we live in right now have been more written about in The Bible than the time when Jesus of Nazareth walked the shores of the Sea of Galilee (thank you Chuck Missler.) Seriously.

Did you get that?

That, my friends, is prophecy unfolding almost daily, before our very eyes.  I’m not kidding! If you search for truth you will be absolutely blown away at what is foretold. The world does not want you to know this – it teaches that everything will be as it has been, and we’re just living in interesting, tumultuous times of which this too shall pass.

Nope.

Sorry to be the one to break this to you, but time is marching to a close – and will eventually be gone forever (as we know it.) We are living in the End Times. I’m sorry to be so strong, but it’s just a fact, just like the earth is round (sorry flat-earth folks.) It is truly a moment in time, a “red pill / blue pill” moment for all of us. There is a way to get to a place beyond time – but you have to choose it – it does not come with the status-quo.

So you have a choice, you can join me on the road less traveled, and be OK with some folks labeling you as a weirdo, or dismissing you altogether. Or, you can go back to sleep. Do you know that “asleep” is how the bible describes the church (in general) of our days? It’s true – and it also cautions against being “asleep:”

1 Thessalonians 5:-so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

…and there are so many other passages.

So now it’s time for a choice – I would really like you to consider making that choice BEFORE you read on. If you chose to remain asleep, then the rest of your reading of this post will be simply entertainment (or frustration.) If you choose to awaken to undeniable truth, then please read on, be excited, and be ready to share the news (maybe even share this post!) Still not sure that the Red Pill world is not truth? Here’s just one small example. Deception is all around us. There are thousands of examples if you will allow yourself to see…)

Oh, and if you do decide to read on, please promise yourself you will see it through to the end of the post. Half of the story could leave you confused and without context.

What a time we live in!

We are living in a season that is commonly referred to by biblical scholars as “the end of the church age.” The church age began at the start of Jesus’ ministry 2000 or so years ago and extends until our present day, and is ending very (I mean very) soon. The church age is meant for the “gentiles” (those of us not Jewish by bloodline – so pretty much the whole non-Jewish world) and it is the open invitation to eternal life with Jesus Christ, after passing from this world. The church age has an end – which means that “time” has a relative end. It’s not the end of the world (that’s 7 years later) but it most certainly is the end of the world as we know it. It does involve a choice – and you’ve made one, whether intentional or not.

It’s not over yet

There’s a really ugly period of time coming upon the earth, where literally life as we know it will cease to exist. The bible has several names for it, such as “The Tribulation,” “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble” and others. In very simple terms, it’s the end of the church age, and the start of a 7-year period where God brings wrath to the earth, for forsaking him and for causing trouble for his chosen people and first love, the Jewish people and Israel. Ever wondered why the middle east is always at war? If you will study you will find that Israel (and what has been done to the Jewish people by the world) is at the heart of it. And it’s been foretold for thousands of years.

Jesus does not need the church present for the last 7 years of this time – and so we don’t have to participate. The mechanics of this are discussed elsewhere in this blog – and becoming part of that protected group is simply a decision (and a belief) away.

Why believe what is written in a 2000+ year old book?

Great question. Easy answer. If one opens one’s eyes, and ignores the evil in this world that tries to blind us from truth, we find history is filled with prophecy from the bible, written by the Prophets of God, Jesus, and those that He taught, and often with  confirmation through other means, like historians of the period,  and by other non-biblical documents from the same period. This is not conjecture, open to interpretation – no, it is solid, historically provable text describing events in advance, in a historically provable book (just do some internet searching, you will see.) It’s truly fascinating, if you allow yourself to notice.

What’s even more exiting is what is happening RIGHT NOW.

Truly.

Want just one example? Turkey, Iran, and Russia, within the last few weeks have formed an alliance. They have NEVER BEFORE in the HISTORY OF THE WORLD formed such an alliance. And, as always, it’s against Israel. Israel is Gods land for God’s people given to them 3000 years ago. In fact, most all middle east conflicts, (if not due to infighting between Islamic states,) are generally because the world hates (or is jealous of) Israel, and God’s favor bestowed upon them (or disagrees over land ownership.) Take a look at the Bible, Ezekiel 38-39. Sure, the people groups that are spoken of in ancient names, but careful study of historical records will lead you to Turkey, Russia, and Iran as the modern day geographical references. The fact that the very alliance spoken of in those passages has occurred tells us where we are in the timeline. If you want to study more on that, go here.

This is just one example of prophecy.

Then there are the many signs. If I were to go through all of the signs of late, such as The Great Sign of Revelation 12, general increasing of knowledge, falling away from God (Apostasy,) LGBT rights, increases in weather/natural disasters, earthquakes, eclipses, and blood moons, then this post would become an encyclopedia (and I would not be the one to write it.) If you simply study Israel through the bible, you will find that Israel is God’s timepiece – and so much is foretold via its story. Just do a search on “End Times Signs” and be prepared to read.. a lot. God has been sending us warnings for years!

My friends – It’s real.

Do we know when the end of the church age is, down to the day or the hour? Nope. Do we know the season? Yep, sure do, and we are in that season. we just have to pay attention to the signs (and ignore the world’s interpretation.) Friends, it’s really close. Again, just search for yourself. and be open to the truth.

If you will allow yourself to see it, then you will find it. If you stop at the first “debunk” post that you come upon, and don’t apply critical thinking, then you will believe what your heart is wanting to believe, and it’s probably easier to believe at that moment that things are going to continue on just as they have. I’m hoping you will allow yourself to discover truth…

Allright – you are open to discovery – what now?

Again, sorry to put this back on you, but you have yet another choice. And I get it, it’s a tough one – so much going through your head, like:

What will people think of me?
How come my pastor has not shared this?
I might be labeled a nut job
This is way too supernatural for me

Take a moment to consider what’s common to all of those items above, and most other fears of truth?

We have fear of what people will think of us.

We are a society that does not accept thinking very far outside of the status-quo. We are encouraged to “go with the flow.” Anyone who “thinks outside the box” too far can become labeled a “conspiracy theorist” or worse. So we stay within the lines, to avoid being labeled, and so that our friends keep liking us. Unfortunately, truth often exists outside of the status-quo.

You know what I think is more important?

What God and Jesus thinks of us.

And the bible tells us over and over and over again that he loves us more than we can even love each other. He also tells us to watch and expect him to come back for us and has given us plenty of signs, for those with eyes to see, that he is at the door.

So are you ready to see? If not, I bet I can guess why.

Reason 1: You do not consider yourself a Christian

This is probably the most common reason, but you do need to address it. The bible (remember that book chock full of accurate historical events and unfolding prophecies?) That same book says that after this experience on earth (which is but a wisp of time,) we get to choose what’s next. We can choose to have eternity with Jesus, in a world that makes this world look like a joke. Or we can choose the less desirable location to spend eternity where its really really hot and evil. To me, it’s a no-brainer choice – if the bible is true, and the bible says that we can have eternal life, I’d take it, and get to know jesus. QUICKLY.   Just get it done – I want you to be with me in foreverness…

Reason 2: You ARE a Christian who is “asleep”

I can completely understand this as this was a description of me not even a year ago. I have been blessed with an inquisitive spirit, so when I hear alternative (to the mainstream) views, I don’t dismiss them immediately – I allow them to speak for themselves. After a few months of study, I came to a stark realization – the majority of the modern evangelical church is so busy being “relevant” that they are too afraid to teach on prophecy and end times. Jesus’ arch enemy is so crafty – he’s gotten our church too busy doing good things, to notice the greatness of truth!

SO NOW YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.

Remember when I said earlier that you’ve made a choice, whether intentional or not? If you have not actively chosen Jesus Christ, then you have made a choice automatically for His adversary – it’s the default. So it’s time to take a stand for yourself. Be strong, and ask Jesus to show you how we are in fact in the end times, and ask Him to show you how much He loves you. If you desire that and truly believe that he will, I GUARANTEE YOU that He will.

I remember the moment I made that decision, I said to myself “If this is real, this changes everything!” And, please know I had been a Christian for many years already. You will be blown away by Jesus’ response (if asked sincerely), and you will be excited with what you discover. And, you will no longer be asleep, you will be watching for Jesus to return, as he has commanded us to do. It will change your life forever. But it will allow you to see good and evil, as opposed to blissful ignorance, so be aware.

One point of clarification – To spend eternity with Jesus, He has to know you. That implies a relationship. This is not a matter of checking off a box and your in- you do need to invest in a relationship with him. But first it starts with belief.

Time to make that choice.

I have written all of this because I want you to know the truth. It’s through my own study this past year that I came to realize that the world we live in has distorted the truth (thanks to The Light Bringer – Lucifer – Jesus’ adversary.) The battle of good and evil is not a fairly-tale – it’s real. Satan is the grand master of lies – he distorts the truth, mixing truth and lies together, in what can seem to be extremely believable ways. I would imagine that you have at least a basic understanding of where Satan’s lies lead to, and where those that do NOT choose Jesus will spend eternity, right?

Friends, it’s real.

The bible describes future millennial time with Jesus, and then the new earth afterwards as absolutely breathtakingly amazing. Watch this for a short taste of that paradise. The Bible also describes the alternative as pretty ugly. Please trust me that you do NOT want to have to go through the tribulation period – few will make it. And without a relationship with Jesus, even if you are one of the rare few that make it through, you will find it was not worth the fight, to spend eternity with evil.

Do you not see all of the evil sneaking in around us as the world turns farther and farther from Christ? The USA was formed on Christian principals – yet every month that goes by, we pass laws making it harder and harder to be the nation “In God We Trust.” In fact, some parts of doing that are already becoming illegal. What do you think this does to God’s blessing on this amazing nation? From that perspective, does it make more sense to consider that we are nearing the end?

Take a step back, look at everything around you with a fresh perspective, and ignore for the moment what the people around you think. Without that filter, you will be able to see truth clearly…

… Which will allow making the right choice that much easier.

Until He comes, we are told to “occupy” and share the news of Him with others. Don’t let your head hit the pillow tonight without giving your life to  Jesus – trust me, you will get a lot more than you will ever give up.

Much Love (I mean truly – I would not have written this were it not for love.)

Please consider accepting (or re-affirming) your faith in Jesus.

(please contact me if I can help with any of this!)

p.s. We are REALLY close.. so don’t take much time to consider. In fact, wisdom would say, choose Jesus NOW. Before Jesus’ came, the blood of perfect animals “atoned” (covered for) our sin. In the Church Age, Jesus, the perfect sacrificial lamb, atones for our sin. After the church age, for the majority of the world it will be your OWN blood – as you die as a martyr for Jesus – that will atone for your sin. Oh, and if you wait too long and are left behind, don’t, whatever you do, take the mark of the beast (it won’t be called that, you will have to study to figure out whatever it becomes.) If you do take the mark, you exclude yourself from eternal life with Jesus -irrevocably. It is better to die for Jesus than to take the mark.

If you REALLY want to dive in, watch the video below, it will catch you up fast. You may have to watch it a few times as it is fast-paced. Remember – Jesus does not forbid us in any way from attempting to figure out when He comes – that’s why He sends signs. Do know that the study of end times (eschatology) is “non-primary” to the Christian faith – meaning it’s not a salvation issue – the only thing that really matters is that you ARE saved. The nearness of the hour just encourages believers to get the word out.

One VERY important note said with MUCH LOVE:

Being Catholic does not necessarily mean you are Christian.

Please hear me on this – this is not a case of “my religion is better than your religion.” But it does touch on what is truth versus deception.

The Catholic Church does not meet the biblical description of the church as described in The Bible. The church (of the bible) is the body of believers that believes we are sinners, Jesus died for our sins, and also believes that the bible is the inerrant word of God. Unfortunately, the Catholic church quite simply teaches things that are NOT of the Bible. Such as it’s own rituals, the diety of Mary, the Pope as Father, infant baptism saving us from sin, and so many more things.

Now wait, please hear me.

I did NOT say that “you are not a Christian if you are Catholic.” What I said was “being Catholic does not MEAN you are a Christian – by God’s standards.” If you love Jesus, know you fall short of His glory (aka you sin) and believe that he died on the cross rose again on the third day, all to atone for your sins – then congratulations, you are a Christian! Continue to draw close to Jesus, and do not participate in the historical rituals taught by the Catholic church.

Please DO NOT take offense to this – but again, study, and have an open mind. I am taking the gutsy step to share this with you because I DO NOT want you to be surprised, and left behind when Jesus comes for His Bride (the Church.) Again, let’s spend foreverness together. Love, and nothing else, motivates me to write this whole post. Believe me, it’s much easier to not share this type of information, than it is to share it. But if you understand Jesus and His love for us, then you will begin to understand the love I have for you, the reader, and your internal security. – even if I don’t even know you personally! I hope to see you in the clouds.

Till it’s gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore
